August 2026 - MEET ME THERE, The Interfaith Musical has first staged presentation

After weeks of intensive rehearsals, MEET ME THERE was staged for a public audience of over 300 people for the first time, over two nights in Santa Monica, CA. The response was overwhelming, and the team is pushing forward to prepare for the off-off Broadway opening planned for 2027. April 2026 - 2026 Digital World Conference: AI for Social Development, Geneva

As part of the 2026 DWC, IHRC participated on a panel entitled AI for Just Transition. We talked specifically about the Human Rights aspect of AI, the near term changes AI will bring specifically in areas of employment, and the migration via Just Transition to the world view of "Caring and Sacredness” that has been described as a hallmark of that process. Coming out of that conference, IHRC has been invited to participate with 20+ other organizations in a Research Coalition on AI for Equity and Inclusion. We are defining our contribution now for a working group process that will take us into 2027. We welcome your input - email us here.


January 2026 - Florida State College at Jacksonville Human Rights Event

We were invited to do our first on campus event in Jacksonville, FL as part of a student government organized Human Rights awareness event. We talked about the UDHR, the Sustainable Development Goals, and the projects IHRC has underway that advance both. We welcome additional opportunities to travel and share our work in other student settings.


November 2025 - World Summit for Social Development 2

IHRC took a small team to Doha, Qatar to begin building global partnerships to advance our Kenya Mobile Internet Access Initiative with Global Affairs Development Union. We submitted a Round Table statement which was selected for presentation. You can find it here.


July 2025 - Kenya Mobile Internet Access Initiative Launched

Our newest Passion Project partner, Global Affairs Development Union (GADU), has presented IHRC with the opportunity to help them address the global ‘digital divide’ in Kenya’s coastal fishing communities by providing mobile internet access to small-scale fisherfolk near Kisumu and Mombasa. GADU is based in Nairobi, Kenya; IHRC first connected with them during our trip to the Summit of the Future last September.

March 2025 - NGO CSW69 / Beijing+30 Forum

This past March IHRC participated in the NGO Forum virtually, highlighting our newest passion project, FemFEAST, a program that leverages STEM and general business education to increase women’s empowerment globally.
