This project was developed as an outcome of the Spalding International Brain Trust's 2018 meeting, with the theme Courageous Actions and Alliances for a Sustainable Future. As Timothy Trujillo, our Vice President, was traveling home from the event he purchased a bottle of water in the airport, recalled the Brain Trust’s discussion around past billboard campaigns driving awareness, concluded that clean water availability for EVERYONE is both a Human Right (Universal Declaration of Human Rights Article 25) and a key part of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation), and CleanWater.support was born.
It is IHRC’s mission-aligned billboard project to raise awareness of the criticality of access to clean water; we’re starting at the mini billboard stage with plans to expand to commercial billboards in public spaces with your support.

Since 2010 the Choose Clean Water Coalition has been harnessing the collective power of more than 230 groups to advocate for clean rivers and streams in all communities in the Chesapeake Bay region. By coordinating policy, messaging, action, and accountability, the Coalition is able to speak louder with one voice toward our collective goal - clean water.
